How To Connect Xbox 360 Controller To Windows 10

Thank you lot for posting here on the Xbox forums. First things first, id similar you to check for any possible updates on your windows 10 device.

Press the Windows button on your device or keyboard, or select the Windows icon in the lower-left corner of the chief screen. Select Settings, and and then select Update & Security. On the Windows Update tab, select Check now to see if any updates are available for your device.

if its wired then the computer should observe the driver ok

your pc shoul be able to read the controller, i don't know for sure on windows 10, merely back in the day when i had windows viii i played a lo of games on it using a 360 controller and an adapter to use information technology wireless

Hi,

The previous replies aren't quite right. If you accept wired 360 controller information technology will work straight away.

If y'all've got a wireless controller, and so y'all'll need the 360 gaming receiver for Windows. The play and charge for 360 can not send information, information technology simply charges the controller. You tin can't turn 360 wireless controllers to wired controllers.
